A absolute stunning sunset

There is just nothing better than to come home (after a hard day in the office and a longer journey home due to road closures following an accident) than to relax with a glass of wine while admiring the sunset over the water.

And what a sunset it was! This is what makes Morland House and living on the coast so special.

What a view

Admiring the view with a coffee on the bench in front of our new home on beautiful Saturday afternoon.

Sunset over Wemyss Bay and Toward Point

A beautiful sunset tonight with stunning views over the Firth of Clyde toward Toward Point and towards Dunoon over Wemyss Bay Pier and Station.

Wow! What a sunset

Tonight’s sunset is simply stunning.

This is what makes living on the North Ayrshire coast so special.

The PS Waverley sailing by

There’s always something magical to see the last seagoing paddle steamer, the PS Waverley, sailing by.

Haste la vista

After a long 17 year absence, we’re back at Morland.

We had forgotten how special the views are. Simply to die for.

Doon the water

We decided to take a trip ‘doon the water’ after lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon. After a nice drive along the Clyde and down the coast, with wonderful views across the water, we arrived at our old stomping ground, Skelmorlie and Largs.

After a brief walk to inspect the newly built flats on the shore at Skelmorlie, we continued our drive along the coast to Largs. The walk along the promenade and Largs Beach was brazing, but well worth it for the fresh air and stunning sunset.
